Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Pastri (“Pastri,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including our mobile application and related services. By downloading, accessing, or using Pastri, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of Pastri

Pastri is a business organization tool designed to help bakers and small baking businesses manage orders, quotes, customers, recipes, ingredients, costs, payments, and reports.

You are responsible for the information you enter in the app and for how you use Pastri in your business.

2. Not Financial, Legal, or Professional Advice

Pastri may help you calculate costs, suggested prices, estimated profits, payments, and balances. These calculations are provided for convenience only.

Pastri does not provide financial, tax, accounting, legal, or professional business advice. You are responsible for reviewing all calculations, prices, taxes, business decisions, and customer agreements before relying on them.

3. Accuracy of Information

The accuracy of Pastri’s calculations depends on the information you provide, including ingredient costs, quantities, labor rates, overhead, margins, payments, and order details.

We do not guarantee that any calculation, quote, report, or suggested price will be accurate, complete, profitable, or suitable for your specific business.

4. Accounts and Data

Pastri may store your data locally on your device and may sync your data using Apple iCloud if iCloud is enabled on your device and for the app.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your device, Apple ID, iCloud account, and any backups you choose to use.

5. Pastri Pro Subscriptions

Pastri may offer optional paid subscriptions, including Pastri Pro Monthly and Pastri Pro Yearly. Pastri Pro unlocks additional features, unlimited usage, or advanced tools within the app.

Subscriptions are processed through Apple’s App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.

Subscription pricing, available features, and subscription plans may change from time to time. Any changes will be handled according to Apple’s App Store rules and applicable law.

6. Free Features and Paid Features

Pastri may offer free features with limits and paid features through Pastri Pro. We may modify, add, remove, or limit features at any time, as long as we do so in a reasonable manner and in accordance with applicable App Store rules.

If you cancel or lose access to Pastri Pro, some features may become unavailable or limited. Your existing data may remain accessible depending on the app’s functionality, but creating or using additional Pro-only features may require an active subscription.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Pastri to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or distribute the app except as permitted by law.
• Interfere with the security, operation, or functionality of the app.
• Use the app for fraudulent, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.

8. Ownership

Pastri, including its design, features, branding, text, software, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the business information and data you enter into the app.

9. Third-Party Services

Pastri may rely on Apple services, including iCloud and the App Store, for syncing, subscriptions, purchases, and app distribution. Your use of those services is also subject to Apple’s terms and policies.

10. Updates and Changes

We may update Pastri to add, modify, or remove features, fix bugs, improve performance, or comply with legal or platform requirements.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of Pastri after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Pastri is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that Pastri will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that your data will never be lost.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, pricing errors, or financial losses arising from your use of Pastri.

Your use of Pastri is at your own risk. You are responsible for reviewing your orders, quotes, prices, payments, and business decisions.

13. Termination

You may stop using Pastri at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the app or certain features if you violate these Terms or if required by law or platform rules.

14. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded Pastri from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple’s applicable terms and conditions. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Pastri, except as required by applicable law.
